Submissions have opened for the 18th issue of The Sirens Call – Words of Death!
Our end-of-the-year issue traditionally centers around death, and this year is no exception.
We’re keeping it very simple and open-ended and asking you to submit stories of death. They can be stories leading to death; stories of dying; stories after death; or stories written from the perspective of Death itself.
This is a Horror and Dark Fiction publication, so we ask for works that are not only topical, but genre suitable as well. With that said… Bring out your Dead!
*Undead does not qualify unless the death that created the state of being undead is a significant portion of the piece.
We accept poems of up to 50 lines; drabbles (up to 5 per author); flash fiction of 300 – 500 words; short stories of 1,000 – 2,500 words.
